Love you Jah!! Your music allow the thugs to grow into men with no regrets of being in love. Loving, Holding, a feeling of belonging, and Security are very important assets for falling in love and a thug is a big turn on. In addition your music provide all of these things. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!

Yours truly,
Sexyy Lipps

He must have been having a heavy breakup when he wrote this song. I can just feel his heart. No doubt..relationships are work but if it's real love, a couple will do what it takes to make it work. Jaheim...when u meet the woman God has in placed on this earth for you, there will be joy in your heart. You will feel her love for you more than you thought she loved you.

I'm luvin this song. Jah, hope u have a video coming out real soon. This is truly a heartfelt wedding song. Your voice is remarkable. Unique in today's music world and no one can touch you. Follow your path and your blessing in life. You are holding the R&B torch high and will continue to do so.

Best thing going.....Unlike so many, Jaheim's lyrics, vocals and sheer creativity make every CD worth buying entirely (instead of my usual one or two I-Tune download).

As soon as I heard , In My Hands, I too fell in love with it. His voice is so smooth. I dont think anyone else could have song it any better.

I play this song at least 5 times a day, and that aint enough.

I must admit that I was not initially a Jaheim fan. His "Ghetto" hymns did not move me although his voice was beautiful. I prefer pure vocalist who sing with a purpose. He has matured as a artist in his last two albums...I love the new direction. His inspiration was also my favorite artist, the late Luther Vandross. I had argued with my new husband that I thought his sound was more like Luther than Will Downing which his bio confirmed. Once my hubby finally listened to the latest cd, he fell in love with it as I already had. It spoke to him in volumes because it resonated so much of our relationship in it. His favorite cut and mine is "In my hands." I am looking forward to his continued success and growth. He has got a new fan for life in me.

I'm floating on (IN MY HANDS) i just can't get enough of this song "ALL THE RICHES ACROSS THE LAND DO'NT COMPARE TO THE WOMAN HE HAS" in response to that i'd say the feeling is mutural!
I love the way the song is ended by giving much respect to GOD when he sings out "SOMETHING WAY BIGGER THAN US BINDS US,TOGETHER WE'RE CLASSIC & TIMELESS"
This song is beautifully arranged! Real talk ppl which other artist out there can sing meaningful songs like this? No one else but JAHEIM!!! GOD BLESS!!

Khaliah here. Thank you to those who responded to my comment. I really appreciate the feedback. My thing is that I just don’t want to see Jaheim do anything to damage his beautiful voice which, to me, is like a fine-tuned instrument. What Stradivarius was to the violin, Jaheim is to a song: a gifted, heavenly voiced singer who’s about the only one in music today who can really sing. Jah truly earns his money because he doesn’t need to studio trickery to enhance his voice—it’s naturally occurring. Though I’ve never seen or heard him live, I bet he sounds as good live as he does on record. Too bad he’s so undersung. Jaheim should be singing theme songs to movies, or using his talent to voice-over jingles for commercials. Too many times, our silky soul singers go the wrong way in their personal lives: they use drugs, smoke cigarettes, drink to excess, party too hard, or other behaviors that can damage their gift or rob them of it. Even if we don’t say it, we all know that most of us are hurt at what happened to Whitney. We wonder how this woman, with this instrument of a voice, let what happened to her occur. Where were her priorities? Didn’t she know that she was that good? Where did it all go wrong? I admit that now I really don’t want to hear anything from her. I hope Jah knows he’s that good, and it’s worth it to vigorously care for his voice.

khaliah's picture

Not to disparage any of the following vocalists, but who do we have today: Anthony Hamilton has a beautiful voice, but he might crack along the way; Usher is still sowing his oats so all his songs are about sex, romp and no circumstance; can we really believe R. Kelly, a talented singer/songwriter/musician, but father’s, lock up your daughters; Maxwell might go away again; Musiq, also a thrice-gifted artist, doesn’t possess the voice nor the bearing; Trey Songz couldn’t bust a grape in a grape factory; Chris Brown will come back, but only in urban markets (everything’s dependent on if the mainstream forgives him); even though he keeps hanging in there—and rightfully so—Prince is playing off the respect and reverence his fans have for him; Johnny Gill with his beautiful voice hasn’t done a thing in 15 years; and D’Angelo (such a sad story) got a big L on his forehead for loser. And for the record, where’s Miles Jaye, Keith Washington, Christopher Williams, and Jeffrey Osborne—artists with beautiful voices who have just faded away? Jaheim has the voice to carry us in to the new millennium—he can carry the torch.

khaliah's picture

So basically that’s my point. I appreciate when a person, whether male or female, can bring something to the table and make you actually visualize in your mind the story they are telling. As I said, Jah’s delivery is impeccable, his voice is beautiful, and I truly hope he has staying power.
