Dear Jaheim,
My name is Kevin. I have used writing as a method of therapy, which has helped me deal with life and my past. However, it seems that i can't get to that point where i am ready to perform or recite. Most of my literary works where written years ago, during a period of incarceration. A few years ago i decided to write again after over ten years of writing nothing. This brought about the revised collection and some new poems that reflict on my life, trials and tribulations. I could go on and on talking about my story, however, i am writing to reach out to someone that has the talent, focus, and experience like you, for some guidance on pursuing my dreams, not only to be heard, but to become free of the fears.

I know this is a God Blessed gift to be able to voice and share my inner most thoughts, but it seems that i am delaying gratification in pursuit to doing and being who God is intending me to be as a writer and poet.
