Your Review of The Bonus Tracks

I only know of 5 bonus tracks:

  1. I Wonder - from itunes
  2. My Swagger - Download from this site (Atlantic) -Deluxe Bundle
  3. Refund - Download from this site (Atlantic) - Deluxe Bundle
  4. In The Dark - CD - Target
  5. BMW - CD - Target

The only other bonuses I am aware of are:

  1. The 30 Minute DVD Interview  - itunes & CD from Target
  2. The Premier of Beyond The Video - Aint Leaving Without You -Download from this site (Atlantic) that was suppose to come with a web chat!

 

Since there is no place to write our thoughts on these items, lets share them here.

  • If you have a different bonus track please let us know the title & where we can get it (if possible.)
  • If you bought yours from a different store and it has those tracks, let us know.

    Yep; it is In the Dark. Remember, Nik we said he should have released this as part of Another Round. You and I bought liked it from the CD bonus track.

    So, there is a Google Alert out about Jah's "New Song".... hmmmmmmm

    Is it "In The Dark"? This came as a bonus song. Me, I love it ;-)

    I personally love all of Jaheim's music, what I can't understand to why some tracks dont make the cut. I love, "In The Dark" "I Wonder"

    Hey Nikysha, to answer your question "Roster" & "Keep It 100" are both exclusive Circuit City (Bonus Tracks) that were on their version of "The Making of A Man" Album. The standard albums only has 12 tracks! My offer still stands, if trade your "I Wonder" bonus track from Itunes, I'll send you "Roster" & "Keep It 100" as an attachment to your e-mail.

    Atlantic are just are bad as Warner though Warner cleaned every Jah track off youtube.

    Years ago they used to piss us off when you bought a cd in March and by Christmas a deluxe cd comes out with extra tracks. Sometimes those tracks would appear on cd singles anyway or UK versions of albums sometimes have extra tracks. English fans would post them on the net anyway. That was the fun of being a record collector. You could walk into your HMV or Tower Records and order the US/Japanese versions....easy.

    Now this time they have excluded the UK, South Africa etc with the bonus tracks and the people who were eligible had to buy three packages. Rip-off.

    What happened to buying one cd which might cost a little extra? The last Maxwell & Robin Thicke cd did that. Robin Thicke's people though have re-released deluxe version of previous albums for the late-buyers.

    Bonus tracks/extras that are unavailable to all due to some reason is bullshit.

    Devane, I hope that didn't turn you off from Jaheim. He is the artist - Atlantic basically promotes him. I hope it was an executive dicission made by them & not him.
    Don't let this be the last round for you. I understand what you mean though. You shouldn't have to purchase a whole bunch of CD's to get 1 or 2 bonus tracks on each. Perhaps come out with 1 CD - 2 at the most - that has all the bonus tracks and just price it higher. If people want it, they will buy it.

    "Rooster" & "Keep It 100" - I never heard those :-( What album were they on?

    Like the last time "Roster" was great but "keep it 100" wasn't great.

    Most people have either no bonus tracks at all or maybe the wallmart/target version.

    Over the years I've hunted down all the promos (which have instrumental, acapellas), wack rap albums that had Jah in the chorus, lost songs/remixes from mixtapes, recorded radio shows etc.....but this bullshit asking for fans to buy 3 versions is going to far. Shameful.

    Somebody bought me the Target version by a seller on ebay. I'm was unable to buy the others because I'm not in the US.

    There won't be "another round" for me.

    They're ripping off the remaining people who still buy cds so fuck them.
