An absolute classic from 2003. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul and the new-school reincarnation of Teddy Pendegrass with a House remix, simply brilliant! I first heard this on DJ Norman Jay's radio show 'Giant 45' which used to be on BBC London radio (sadly no more). I believe this track first appeared on Fall Out Records in 2003 (FOR 002), simply entitled 'Jaheim - Beauty & Thug', and then it reappeared on a vinyl compilation in 2004 called 'Mary J. Blige - The House Mixes (Vol. 1)' on JMR Records (MJB 001). The latter has it down as a DFA mix on some tracklistings, so it's possible it might be a Darryl James production originally.
